Sgt. William E. Day (right) of the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit shows a few of his Marines how to be the gunner on an M-198 155 mm Howitzer at Forward Operating Base Iskandariyah, Iraq. Day, an Elizabethtown, Ky., native, is a section chief on Gun Six, Bravo Battery, attached to 1st Battalion, 2nd Marines. The 24th MEU is currently conducting security and stability operations in the Northern Babil province of Iraq.
